A Typical Day at EMCO:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders as well as counting, verifying, receiving, and putting away incoming vendor material and customer returns. An attention to detail will ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.


Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is the safe and efficient movement of product within the warehouse and yard. These products consist of plumbing and heating products. Duties include loading and unloading of trucks, picking, packaging and shipment of transfers and customer orders. Operation of material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks. In addition, EMCO expects all of our teammates to invest in their own development and provides many programs to support this growth.


Entrance Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum Grade 12 education
  • At least one-year warehousing experience
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic with high regard to customer service
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Forklift Experience
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Successful completion of our hiring protocol
